About this item: Based on the Hot Hand™ Wah Filter and Hot Hand™ Phaser/Flanger effects systems, the new Soundblox Tri-Mod Phaser pedal offers 11 phaser effects that redefine how guitarists, keyboard players, and others, use effects.

Building on the same high quality sounds as their more expensive predecessors, the Soundblox Tri-Mod Phaser pedal can be controlled by either a Hot Hand™ motion sensor, an LFO(1) or an Envelope Follower(2).

All Soundblox effects feature state-of-the-art 56-bit DSP co-developed with Analog Devices, Inc. and crystal clear 24-bit A/D D/A converters for exceptional sound quality.

Get a Soundblox pedal and find out why Premium Guitar says that Source Audio is "redefining the world of guitar effects with the introduction of its new Soundblox pedals..."

LIMITED OFFER! While supplies last, each Soundblox Tri-Mod Phaser ordered from Select Sounds LLC includes a FREE Hot Hand™ controller (wired version).

Controls:

EFFECT: The heart of the Tri-Mod Wah Phaser is the Effects control. A simple turn of this knob selects between: Classic 2 Notch Rotation (one very low frequency, no resonance), Standard 2 Notch (some resonance), Standard 3 Notch (no resonance), Standard 4 Notch (some resonance), or Standard 6 Notch (some resonance), 6 Notch (shifted signal from input, producing a hollow sort of sound (no resonance), 2 Notch (with 6 peaks, some resonance). The type of sounds created can vary dramatically depending on setting, the use of LFO, Envelope, or Hot Hand™. This is one system that practically begs you to experiment and have fun.

FREQUENCY: Turn counter-clockwise to emphasize lower frequencies for dark sounds. Turn clockwise for brighter sounds using higher frequencies. This is also helpful for adjusting the frequency to match another instrument such as bass guitar or keyboard.

DEPTH: This multi-purpose knob controls the drive of the effect and the type of modulation being used. When turned to the left of '0' the effect is driven using an envelope follower. The further the knob is turned counter-clockwise, the more depth. When turned to the right of '0' the effect is driven by LFO. The further to the right, the more LFO depth. If you use the Hot Hand™ controller, this knob is controls how much the filter moves in relation to the motion of the Hot Hand™.

SPEED: Is used to smooth out the input from the Hot Hand™ (or other) sensor, giving you control over the rate of change in signal (attack and decay time). FLAIL provides the slowest rotation simulation; PICK provides the fastest.

You get innovation with a ton of features:

  • 11 Phaser sounds (see EFFECTS, above)
  • 3 Modulation Sources: LFO (1), Envelope Follower (2), and Hot Hand™ Motion Sensor
  • Modern Design featuring rugged construction and a sleek attention grabbing look
  • State of the art proprietary DSP - 56-bit digital signal processing and crystal-clear 24 bit converters
  • Motion control capable- using the unique Hot Hand™ motion sensor (wired version included while supplies last)

(1) An LFO is a Low Frequency Oscillator (built in to the Soundblox). The LFO are commonly used in effects like phasers, flangers, and choruses. The Tri-Mod Wah allows you to use a variable LFO to drive the effect to create unique sounds.

(2) An Envelope Follower is a built-in mathematical formula that responds to the amplitude (or volume) of the incoming signal to create the wah control.
